Prestatyn North Wales

The town of Prestatyn is located on the North Wales coast and is so close to the town of Rhyl that the two are often thought of as one.

Prestatyn has miles of wonderful beaches that stretch out towards the Dee Estuary.

Prestatyn is home to the Haven Caravan Park, Presthaven Sands, which is located close to the towns wonderful beach area.

Caravans are available for rent or purchase as well as holiday homes and self catering apartments.

Close to Prestatyn is Rhuddlan Castle which is over 800 years old! Rhuddlan Castle was built by the English during the invasions of King Edward I and was used extensively during this time.

The castle can still be explored today and is now under the care of CADW which is the Welsh Society for Historic Monuments.

Close to Prestatyn is the town of Rhyl, in fact the two are so close that many think of them as simply one town.

Rhyl is home to a number of popular visitor attractions including The Rhyl Sunlife Centre which is an indoor swimming and entertainment complex.

Next door to the Sunlife Centre is the Rhyl's Pavilion Threatre which regularly plays host to top shows and entertainment.

A short walk along Rhyl's wide promenade takes you to the Apollo Multiplex Cinema and Rhyl Skytower where you can get a great view of the North Wales coastline.
